⁴⁹ “Rabbi,”^(A) Nathanael replied, “You are the Son^(B) of God! You are the King of Israel!”^(C)

⁵⁰ Jesus responded to him, “Do you believe only because I told you I saw you under the fig tree? You^[a] will see greater things than this.” ⁵¹ Then He said, “I assure you: You^[b] will see heaven opened and the angels of God^(D) ascending and descending^(E) on the Son of Man.”^(F)
